How Can We Help Prevent Injuries?
No matter what you do in life, you are always at risk of injury. However, they are multiple ways in which you can reduce your risk of injury. You do not need to participate in a sport to be at risk of injury. Muscular injuries in particular can be the most prominent and can happen at any point, particularly if our bodies are de-conditioned.
We can provide you with a detailed and comprehensive treatment and/ or prevention program to help reduce your risk of injury from occurring.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Have you had an injury? Would rest be enough to reduce an injury from re-occurring?
There is no doubt that if you have injured yourself rest will help with the healing process. However, a lot of people think that a couple of days rest will resolve the injury entirely. Yet, when they return back to their previous activity or sport they still have pain or are unable to fully exert themselves as they were before. Sometimes, pain can be worse than before or the previous injury has worsened.
Unfortunately in sport and daily living, accidents happen which can often set us back and make us feel frustrated and annoyed.
Rest assured, your Sports Therapist will support you every step of the way in your recovery and preventing an injury from occurring again in the future.
